About Paul Weinberg
Paul Weinberg is a real estate attorney practicing in Irvine, California. Since 1979 his Orange County practice has specialized in real estate, title, leasing and real property development matters.
Paul has lectured and acted as moderator for the University of California’s Continuing Education of the Bar Program, lecturing to other real estate attorneys on real estate topics for the last twenty years. Additionally he has taught for the University of California, Hastings, College of Law in San Francisco, California, in civil trial practice, and Western States University College of Law in Irvine, California, on the subjects of land use planning and secured land transactions.
Paul's prior practice included real property litigation for twenty-five years, specializing in breach of real estate contract cases, real estate fraud cases, and architectural malpractice defense. Paul also has, and continues to represent landowners before design review boards and other municipal entities. He has lectured to architects, at the local, as well as the national level, on design and design review related issues and interpretation of land use regulations. Paul has also advised builders and developers as he is conversant with the construction process and has been involved in assisting clients in constructing commercial and industrial buildings for the last twenty years.
Paul is the only non-architect member of the Laguna Beach Architectural Guild and acts as their legal counsel. He is a member of the Society of Architectural Historians, the American Institute of Architects, and has acted as a docent for their architectural tours in Southern California since 1993.
In 1998, Paul announced the formation and opening of a private mediation service devoted to the resolution of real property disputes. The main focus of the mediation service is matters involving breach of real property agreements, construction defect, architectural and engineering malpractice and disputes concerning real property partnership and joint ventures.
